At a time of unprecedented daily scandals, this this whistleblower complaint, and the memo it reveals for the first time, breaks through for me as beyond the pale.

It's the federal government conspiring in secret to subvert the Fourth Amendment.

Trump has imported far right ideology from EUROPE and they want to lecture us while they fawn over him and shit. The EU is ridiculous

All European flattery accomplishes is strengthening his position for American public. Impose sanctions or stfu

Republicans are still more trusted on immigration (but it's become a fading issue since the election). The administration is likely trying to raise its salience through cruelty since they see the issue as a winner over healthcare. Hence the need to connect them.

On immigration, it's pretty clear that a majorirty of voters now disapprove of what Trump is doing with mass deportation/ICE *and also* still trust Republicans more on immigration.

There has been a lot of recent polling and most of it has been pretty good, including TIPP on north carolina senate race.

In that regard it's just reflecting back each party's messaging to its own base, which doesn't really tell us much of anything useful.

FWIW, in the same survey Morning Consult only got D+2 on the generic ballot, which isn't wildly out of range but is definitely on the low side.

Oh and Michigan governor, I forgot that one. But I just saw a tipp poll of dem +6 on gen ballot

I think that’s right but I also don’t think this trust metric here is useful, it really doesn’t make a lot of sense that an electorate trusts Dems so much on LGBT is +9 on immigration for GOP.

It’s more like it’s gibberish. Electorate that trusts Dems so much on lgbt isn’t +9 on immigration.

Rasmussen had Dems +6 on general ballot today so we got odd results from d ranked pollsters, big deal

this media bias checker is really bizarre. It says that mc is the official polling partner of New York Times. Sienna is their partner.

they have been polling like this the entire cycle
