Maybe a 21 post thread is a little excessive, so to end here's a few photos I didn't get in anywhere else.

This is a squirrel thread now, so here's that guy in motion.

I feel sorry about scaring this little guy. Saw his paw around a branch. The tree where he seems to hide food has no escape routes apart from climbing down.

Yes. There's two with that type of fur.
(Well, there's more. But I think these two and the darker one essentially own that specific set of trees.)

Another sporty squirrel!

Love the framing on this one:

Aehm, I took a lot of pictures of these little ones the last two cold days. I hope you don't mind.

Okay, I got some robins too. Didn't get a good one in flight yet though. They fast. :(

This is a blue tit thread now.

Here's two more rockets:

Something I never noticed before taking photos of this, but half the time or so blue tits just have their wings tugged in completely, flying like a rocket.

Never gonna get this kestrel at a good and bright time of day I don't think.

Technically that picture is bird in flight. Got a little obsessed with that lately, even though my camera isn't particularly great at finding focus fast enough. It's fine for big birds, but small birds I basically have to pre-focus and pray or just pray they stay in the same focal plane. 🤕

If you zoom in way too much on the last picture, you can see a tiny little thingy in front of the beak. Not sure if the bird grabbed a bug it got from the branch and is now about to eat it.

This bird creeps up trees with its short toes, which makes sense, because the English name for these tiny little folks is "short-toed treecreeper".

Woodpecker
(Only got this one usable photo, and it's not particularly great. He shy)

Didn't notice it at the time, but I stumbled upon a picture of this one carrying the moss across the tree tops before ending up in the tree I was at.

It started freezing here a few days ago and the sky cleared up, allowing me to snap these cool (literally) pictures where the frozen outer edges of grass blades look grayish-blue early in the morning.

Long time no #photography thread, so here's an excessively long one for you to accompany me on my journey of learning how to take photographs of things (and stuff!) and developing RAW files; arguably more work, I guess
Let's start with a bunch of dusks and dawns from the last gloomy weeks:

Never gonna forget looking straight up a tree I was leaning against this morning and discovering the rustling sound was a squirrel sporting a sick Ent cosplay.

Took too many photos the last few days. Before I manage sort through them, here's a photographic short story in three acts:

Too bad it wasn't a Konami game or they could have done the thing where they put a picture of that box inside of a small box below the caption at the top of the actual box.
