Idk if anybody else struggles to hold their phone or tablet, but Aldi has these cute kid's holders for $4.99 right now.

Very sturdy and they've really helped my hands. The star and butterfly designs are 2-3 inches wider.

We were able to take the pregnant stray kitty we found to a no-kill shelter that's planning to find her a foster home so she can safely have her kittens. 🥰

Our sweet Missy came and snuggled me for a while. She's the softest cat I've ever touched. 💗
A super soft gray and white short-haired tabby asleep with her cheek smushed against the arm of a dark sofa. This has been the most difficult week since my husband died unexpectedly 7.5 years ago.

Unexpected deaths are the worst.

Tw: pet death

We took Buck Truckley to the ER tonight.

He had fluid in his abdomen. They suspected FID, which has no real treatment available, and we had to say goodbye to him.

That's 2 furbabies in 2 weeks 😫😭
We call this picture "Nugget." It is of our little orange and white tabby kitty with his tail tucked over his paws, as he does a little sit. Picture taken from afar, sort of blurry. He looks very polite.

Slept 13.5 hours today, and my body battery only made it to 75/100.

This is long covid.
Smartwatch body battery data: Pic shows 12am - 12am. Sleep is indicated by small blue dots on the bottom of a graph that shows stress levels in orange and blue, and body battery level by a white line. Sleep was from 7:10am - 10:24pm. Stress levels remained elevated nearly halfway through sleep. Body Battery only made it to 75.

11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m Turn off all non-essential lights from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each night during migration season. Do not use landscape lighting to light up trees or gardens where birds may be resting. Close blinds at night to reduce the amount of light being emitted from windows.

The lads' emotional support animals! Seated preciously in front, looking up and to his left, is the adorable Buck Truckley, a light orange Persian mix who's fluffier than anyone has a right to be. Behind him, lying on her side like the goddess she is, is Missy Elliott, a gray European short hair (we suspect) mix with a beautiful white snout and a rainbow feather boa (toy) across her body. She feels just like a teddy bear, and they both love snuggles.

Muffins had an emergency vet appt for swollen lymph nodes, and the vet only charged us for meds!
