Yeah I agree. As a fellow Bi person, seeing Alucard in the show revealed to he Bi (though probably could've been revealed better, damn Season 3) is important to me as well.

While I have issues with some of NX vania stuff. Alucard in both shows isn't one of them.

Again the corruption of the Monarchy and Church is accurate plus it does shed good light on the Haitian Revolution.

But the French Revolution aspects broadly, are a bit hollow imo and too closed minded imo.

My point is. If your media has a point that parallels with the historic setting you are setting it in.

1. Please don't avoid nuance (especially with eras like the French Revolution or English Civil War).

2. Don't render your points. Pointless

And you could argue maybe thats the whole point and will be explored into Nocturne Season 3 (if it happens) but the issue is that this makes things worse as it basically renders, debatably, the events of S1 and 2 pointless.
