PUPPIES OF PENZANCE! * We were very paw-leased to welcome 13 Guide Dogs for the Blind puppies-in-training and their raisers to the dress rehearsal of The Pirates of Penzance. Attending live theater is a great opportunity for environmental socialization, where these future guide dog candidates can experience unusual sounds like soaring vocals and loud applause, and work on skills like settling for longer periods of time, ignoring distractions, polite greetings, and navigating crowds. These pups are all in the "puppy raising" stage, where they'll spend 13-15 months with a "raiser" from Seattle Puppy Raisers before heading to guide dog training in California or Oregon. We're so glad we got to be a small part of their journey! Guide Dogs for the Blind - Seattle Puppy Raisers is an all volunteer puppy raising group for Guide Dogs for the Blind. This is my soul pup Woo. He is a big part of the reason I agreed to move to Seattle - because he had come out here with my mom a couple years before.

A bag of spooky nuggets. They are chicken nuggets shaped like a pumpkin, a ghost and a bat. A box of Dino nuggets. They are chicken nuggets shaped like various dinosaurs. A bag of sea creature chicken nuggets. They are shaped like (and I mean these loosely, they're not very accurate but they're chicken nuggets, what can you want) a sea turtle, a fish and what might be an octopus but could also be a glove. A bag of MEGA DINO NUGGETS. They appear to be the same as the Dino nuggets, just large.
