One of the reasons I keep coming back to the Canon EOS 6D is how incredible its sensor is—it feels like Canon might’ve accidentally made it too good for its time. The way it captures light and shadow is just unmatched, even in 2024.

Right! Crystalline glazes could bring such striking detail, while wood ash adds that organic, unpredictable flow—both would give the piece a lot of character!

A pale green celadon sounds delicate. Ash glazes are stunning but yes they don’t replicate the flowing effects of wood firing. Some potters layer ash glaze over a flux-heavy base or add frits to encourage melting—worth experimenting!
