The nurse in Miami? The woman running down the sidewalk to her home in New Orleans?

Not cheap but looks less than $8 k is the Copper Charle with the battery - no upgrade needed and it’s fabulous.

Agreed! But as much as I could read I agree it is a wasteful performative deployment. I see the EVERY day in the park and my streets and they serve no purpose.

Every member of the House and Senate and those auto execs should be asked about this. Put them on the record!
December 5, 2025 at 12:14 AM
Can’t read the column but the headline sums it. But there is no guarantee autos will drop prices but if they drop fuel saving technologies consumers will be just sending their dollars to the oil industry- the real winners.

It wasn’t Barra!
December 4, 2025 at 12:42 AM
Wasn’t that Barra over his shoulder and then Filosa of Stellantis.

None of the auto execs walked out.

This has NOTHING to do with affordability. This will leave consumers paying more at the pump. This is a big oil gift. Oh, and we also all pay for climate disasters which are NOT affordable.
December 4, 2025 at 12:08 AM
It’s an oil industry gift.
December 4, 2025 at 12:05 AM
That’s about right and American drivers will pay the price.

She was released but what about the trauma of this? A reminder that this can happen to anybody now.
December 3, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Nothing like a rollback of effective standards that leaves consumers holding the bag (shoveling dollars to the oil industry).
December 3, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Trump delivering for the oil industry!
