So now we have the DC police patrolling in a supportive role to the National Guard who are purportedly here to patrol in areas to free up DC police to be elsewhere. So late this afternoon 4 guard members and one police office in Stanton Park.

My libertarian uncle went to the Lexington, MA protest, seemingly to observe the crowd condescendingly. I asked if there were frogs. He, surprised, said yes, three, what is that about? The frogs had not reached him. The frogs are not for him 🐸

I am so angry at this point! A van full of OH national guard in front of my house getting ready to patrol Capitol Hill fully armed like it’s a war zone. They don’t belong here and I tell them so. An abuse of their commitment to serve. This is terrible.
