I design exams to be able to be completed well under the time limit, and I tell all students that I’ll stay until they’re done, even if it’s past class time. The longest anyone has stayed is 15 minutes over the period. And time spent on the test has had no correlation with grades for me either.

Those first three are my kids’ and these ones are my grands’. I made my first one from a kit in high school and added the name for my son’s first Christmas with us a decade later. I’d already bought a second kit which I made for my daughter. And so now everyone needs one!
