A plan to evacuate 18 seriously ill children from Gaza to Ireland for potentially life-saving treatment has stalled because of Government concerns about granting special visas to the children’s siblings.

Several children listed for treatment in Ireland have died.

Thinking of Ann Lovett today, ##otd 1984, 15yrs old & pregnant, she went to the grotto in Granard where she gave birth to a still born baby boy, she was found sometime later but died shortly after of hypothermia & blood loss.
