Like, can't these people just say, "I think this is a good, competently made game that is, unfortunately, not for me"? That's what I say about Disco Elysium. And I say why too, so the devs could maybe work on a one-shot mode if they want. But these folks act like everything must be made for them.
And it’s a general problem with the unified algorithm concept - on Netflix, in AI, wherever - that if you have a game for niche A, but niche B gets in the way, the B people can tank your game so it never reaches A. In Pendragon’s case we have negatives from both strategy players and VN people.

I decided to try playing W40K: Rogue Trader knowing that it had an Ironman mode called Grim Darkness. They added it in September 2024 with a patch and said that it would come to consoles "later". I thought that surely it's already added to the PS5 version in 2026. Nope, it isn't. Kinda lame.

It is actually hard to get anything niche like USB-C to HDMI here, even in CABA. I went to chinatown with a bunch of aliexpress shops but couldn't find it until I asked gemini pro for guidance, and it led me to a weird, probably previously abandoned mall, a little hole for autists of all kinds!

I got myself a USB-C to HDMI cable instead of a CRT for my birthday/NY. I mean, I couldn't stomach even thinking about hauling a CRT in 35-degree heat. Even though the cable/phone can only do 2160p60, my phone can be switched to 1440p120 in settings. That gets rid of perceptible processing lag.

MGS3 is the only game that has three very distinct and unique versions. It would be cool to find people who have never played it, ask them to play all three in a different order for each person, and then interview them to see which one they liked best.

Quite a few years ago, I realized there is nothing wrong with not finishing a book. Problem is, now I'm at the point where I don't finish most of them. Anyone else have that experience?

3DS is the best portable console ever made so far. It is truly portable. The step counter and Activity Log where you can see what you played and steps with graphs. The cool 3D splash screens with sound and game unwrapping. The Mii StreetPass thing! BY GODS this console was perfection! It still is.

I really want to play some Warcraft 3 campaigns, but I literally don't have a comfortable setup to do it. Oh, I wish it was available on console, like wtf, keyboard and mouse support is old news on console. Switch 2 even has it built-in now.

I played around 5 hours or so of Jedi Fallen Order and completed Bogano level just a couple of weeks ago because I needed something Metroid-Prime-like after watching a stream of 4. I thought that Greez Dritus guy must be a character homage to Vince Zampella. Hah, it is sad to see him gone now.

Now I'm 150% sure that The Last of Us 3, if it ever happens, will just be Part 1, but make it a mom game with an older Ellie and someone new as her kid. That would actually be great.

By cutting Halo's prox chat out of Destiny, all they did was dehumanize everyone, enable hate for hateful people, and then close them in their box. A toxic kid or an adult in Halo eventually "grew up" by seeing and talking with humans on the other side of their actions.
