Food waste (including pumpkins) is the largest source of fugitive methane from US landfills, so every composted pumpkin helps! The Delanco Environmental Advisory Board is sponsoring a pumpkin composting collection Nov. 1-30.

It’s Bat Week
NJ has 9 bat species, including 6 year-round residents and three migratory species.
The most common species are the big brown and little brown bats, which often roost in buildings.
