Watching Celebrity Traitors UK today, one clue in an episode is “how many combined people die in Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet”. Joked that it was “all of them, well except for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern”, thinking I was clever. An hour later saw that Tom Stoppard had passed away. What have I done?

Was thinking for a long time how I roll out my #ttrpg setting Kaung Pi. Finally the decision is made, I will start with a Solo Adventure Gamebook using simplified #DnD rules. Of course it will have a #fantasymap. Here an experiment with framing a bw version.

22 years ago… before Eberron… I was lead designer on an MMORPG called Lost Continents. It was pulp adventure—like Indiana Jones and Uncharted (but before Uncharted!). I just stumbled on a book of concept art and thought I’d share some images this week.

#ttrpg players, have you ever heard of hex flowers? Essentially semi-random tables that make sequential events make more sense since the future state is based on the current state, and motion on the plot isn’t totally random (has a statistical bias in certain directions). Lots of neat applications.

This is a very good visual for how talking about artists helps us. If you’ve commissioned, bought from or worked with an artist, please talk about it. It helps us a lot.
Last year, an author mentioned my shop on her substack. It changed my income so drastically that this is the spike of orders from that *one* mention last year. Word of mouth for an artist can change everything.
