Same child a few weeks ago: the class did a unit on sci fi in ELA, and we were chatting about sci fi more generally. I mentioned @annaleen.bsky.social & @charliejane.bsky.social’s (now completed *sad face*) podcast Our Opinions Are Correct.

Okay, the kid just asked me how to make a scene more dramatic, so I was able to go into creative writing teacher mode and offer a few suggestions. Phew! I've redeemed myself.
