Thinking bout this and my thoughts on Makima's motherly love again. Thinking back to these posts I sent on discord and Asa's dilemma abt making weapons (superhero ability) + Yoru's usage of gun. Pairing of justice/crime w weapons + Barem/Miri's identification of weaponhood for cause vs evil as their nature. Do weapons form the wielder or vice versa. (Aki/Gun Fiend)
(in response to Asa's repression manifested through Yoru) "Yeah. The way I interpret it is that while Asa is against and horrified by Yoru's actions, she's also weighed down by the rules of society that she has to follow or fails to follow (e.g making friends, getting a boyfriend) and that comes with her drive to always do the right thing out of her fear of making mistakes that she can never undo and the pain and regrets they leave her (her mother's and crambon's deaths) And it's an interesting juxtaposition with the reveal of how her dad died and how his death was framed with the context of her tripping "at the most important time" being intentional in her complicity for her father's murder because of him being a bad father and husband + her mother encouraging Asa to do the same to her in order to sustain herself (selfishness enabled as an act of selfless love) And how that parallels with Yuko's arbitrary ideas of justice when she's seeking to save herself through Asa's victimhood as her hero due to their shared circumstances with bullying. Which Asa inherits as well in order to be able to live with her head held up high by "doing right by her heart"." (response to the panel emphasising yoru's butt during gun goddess arc) "Oh yeah, those were during the gun goddess arc And people have made the comparison to Asa's mom having the same panel in 216, to highlight the nature of Yoru's motherhood The overlap of weaponised/utilitarian love framed w selfishness/selflessness and the act of killing as an act of justice or a crime. And Asa's inheritance of it through her guilt + Yoru in her body. Weapon bearer."

あまり知られていないことですが、虎井まさ衛さんは、日本の一般雑誌で「ジェンダー」という概念を使い、普及させる役目を果たした最初の書き手です。
それは、フェミニズム的な文脈からではなく、トランスセクシュアル（・GID）やインターセックス（DSDs）の臨床の文脈から、でした。
今からは想像もつきませんが、そのような言語実践を日本で最初期にはじめ、虎井さんは活動家として、トランスジェンダー的な人たちの生の余白を切り拓いてきたののです。
一方、周司さんはいまや「ただの男性」として、男性学の著作を数多く残しています。このふたりに登壇していただけるイベント、とても貴重な機会です。
