A Range Rover with its liftgate open slowly drove by my house the other day. A couple kids were sitting in the cargo area. I thought this was a bit strange until I realized they were just taking pictures of the McLaren behind it. Carry on, dudes.

Anybody else's dad raise them on the song "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" by George Thorogood?

So nice of Kim Davis to remind us of how much of a piece of shit she continues to be even 10 years later. Fuck that bitch.

Having a sinus infection is a great diet. Can't taste anything, so why bother eating?

I think one of my airpods is busted. With noise cancelling enabled whenever I speak, it sounds like there's a kazoo in my ear.

Me, as I'm cleaning the same gutter for the 3rd time this week: "man, Fall is so pretty"

Ever since I got a Steam Deck I haven't gamed on my gaming PC once. Do I even need one anymore?

Windows is so broken I don't even know why I even bother using it anymore. This kind of crap is a daily occurrence for me.

Delete operation stalls, try to cancel... explorer.exe crashes. Open Task Manager... it stalls too. Wtf am I even supposed to do here other than go nuclear?

Sure, I'll get right on catching up on these 2 MILLION Slack messages I missed.

One of my work pet peeves is when someone posts a question on a Slack channel, but immediately posts a followup comment as a NEW POST instead of in the thread of the first one.

I will often start a thread on the 1st post with a reply that links to the 2nd post. 🫠

How is it my most popular posts were some fleeting political thoughts I made in jest while drunk?

I like the woke because it's the right mindset to have. Also because it pisses off the Christian nationalists, which is a bonus.

Getting serious 2009 vibes tonight with these election results. Is America finally waking back up or are the boomers just dying off?

Picked up a couple OLED Steam Decks. Bigger than I had imagined!

Feels well-built but first boot took forever with no progress bar. Thought it was a lemon but the OS finally loaded.

I don't think there's anything I despise more than online shopping for gifts. Just a god awful experience all around.

I keep seeing diagrams that look like this, with this specific font and "hand-drawn" feel. What software is used to create these?

Here's another fun little TypeScript Builder pattern trick you can use if you want to require a specific execution order on its methods using the "Pick" utility type. While the generated JS is fine, tsc will yell at you.

I promise this is not a social engineering attack, but...

- do you remember your first password?

- how strong is it by today's standards?

- what service was it for?

Mine was for my family's dialup ISP and could be cracked in about 3 hours these days. 😬
