At Target Driveup only White employees are now bringing groceries to my car. Last week Feds abducted nearby Target citizen employees. I’m sure non-White workers are afraid to show up everywhere. (My partner & I are helping a family afraid to come out of their home. This arrangement is common)

In Minnesota, scores of ordinary people are bravely looking out for their neighbors, defending their communities, and protesting lawless violence.

They are the best of America.

Here's how to stand with them. www.standwithminnesota.com

Wow! This read-along of the NYT moment-by-moment leading to the murder of Alex Pretti should shake everyone awake. He was a Good Samaritan.

Agents fired at least ten shots in roughly five seconds. DHS and Pam Bondi claim Pretti approached them armed and intent on a “massacre.”

This is a MUST-READ affidavit.

This eyewitness to Alex Pretti’s murder — who is too scared to even go home because she doesn’t trust federal agents — directly refutes what the feds are saying happened today:

To those blaming Walz for not mobilizing the Guard, he did that six days ago. I have to say it's disturbing to see people angry at Walz instead of the government agents that just executed a man. As though we should all be experts about what to do when a secret police force invades an American city.

Electricity is back.
I thought we wouldn’t see it for a few days after the night attack.

Glory to Ukrainian engineers.

where power came back early this evening (not at night, as usual).

Such a joy to wash my hair not at midnight.
Just sharing this so you don’t take anything for granted.

Now, time for a warcoffee. Blessed small things.

In the years Canada was in Afghanistan, my colleagues and I repeatedly had to profile soldiers who died there.

Here are some that I wrote or co-wrote.

Though a reservist, Corporal Jason Warren had volunteered for a six-month tour in Kandahar. He died Saturday, just two weeks short of leaving the combat zone for a week of decompressing in Cyprus befo...

Today, the power outage lasted 18 hours straight.
I’m sitting through the last hour of electricity (we usually get four).

So many crazy things are happening in the world now.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.
