Great to see our new paper out in print. Community-acquired pneumonia is both ab acute and a long-term issue. Failure to identify the pathogen, failure to understand the pathobiology and failure to grasp the long-term consequences have all contributed to the limited improvements in outcome to date.
Community-acquired pneumonia is the leading infectious cause of morbidity and mortality globally.

Yet, there are several challenges associated with diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of Community-acquired pneumonia.
