I was cleaning/dusting my computer case, and from those droppings on my graphics card, I think a lizard might have been using my graphics card as its toilet! I hope it's been eating the bugs at least.

I made this protest sign back in April. Now it's September, and late night hosts are being silenced for being critical of the regime. In America, we've now arrived at the point where the government decides what you can laugh at.

Here are my stray cat friends from Kakaako Waterfront Park: I call them Fatty, Darkness, & Toupee. Fatty usually just likes to lounge around on the ground. Darkness is so soft to rub. Toupee will stretch out for a good long rubbing and meow at you if you stop too early. #Honolulu #Kakaako

Finally home after about 2 amazing weeks in Japan! Somehow, it felt like a lot longer. It was good to take a break from the computer & the 24/7 US news cycle.
We walked soooo much, but ate very healthy meals, and were able to find good vegan options. Bonus: almost all of my houseplants survived!

One of the toughest parts in making this was figuring out how to make these bugs climb properly.
They can climb anything that's touching the ground, including other larva.
They propagate the "groundedness" to each other with an expiration time for that groundedness.
