If you said you were a Lamar Jackson fan first, you could have saved yourself the effort of saying you weren't a Super Bowl fan.

You would know if your device were listening to you 24/7 and transmitting everything you say to its manufacturer, because a brand new battery with full charge capacity would last for 20 minutes. The traffic would also be viewable on network sniffing: no one has ever detected it.

The examples he gives sound really interesting, but I think there's a place for the starter opera too. I was listening to orchestral reductions of the Ring way before I was ready for the whole thing.

One thing about Bayreuth: you're gonna sweat.

I thought the Carstorf production was hostile to Wagner and that he was unethical for taking the job, but a few Germans have assured me that there were many subtle things that a non-German probably wouldn't get. I certainly didn't!

It's Bavaria (OK, Franconia), so you can get a beer and pretzel during intermission. The ceiling is high, but the floor is reasonably low.

The official word is sensible:
"There are no regulations, but the festive character of the events determines the outfit of the guests. In addition, the weather also influences the evening wardrobe. It should be noted that the temperatures in the Festival Theater rise from the stalls to the gallery."

Bayreuth has the widest variety of attire of any theater I've attended. Lots of tuxes and gowns, plus kimonos, Tracht, traditional African costume, and plenty of ordinary suits and dresses. Always a couple of crumpled polos as well.

Not to mention musicians don't sound like they're playing inside Spotify's damp toilet paper tube.

The first time I ran the search was on the ČD app. I just ran it again on cd.cz. The sleepers appear on the app but not the web!

Just ran a search from inside the country and see both on the Bratislava route for your dates. Let's hope it's just a hiccup.

Typical night at the mansion: Clint's been throwing up and Vision's been reading Martha Stewart Living.

It seems like at least a quarter of the EU budget goes to these studies. Do you know which member countries unbend the most paper clips? I bet the EU does!
