Thoroughly enjoying my return to archaeology. Met some great colleagues! Been a bit cold this week though!!

What could be done to make it easier for field archaeologists to raise a family? How could working on site be made compatible with raising children?

Field archaeologists are older than they used to be.
During my first career in Archaeology, most diggers were early twenties.
On my site next week, at 48 years old, I will be the third oldest site assistant, and in the team of 7 of us, everyone is over 29 years old. This is a sign.
