My brain just can’t get around the inaction of our govt and other govts in the west. I just can’t. How do they ever justify doing NOTHING to stop this?

It’s very important to grapple with this nuance. Because you have to connect it to this other hard truth. They have been doing this to Black people for decades. They told you it was “necessary”. And you believed them.

I KNOW it’s not just Japanese men that take advantage of technology to the detriment of women in society.
Why do we diminish violence against women in all forms? Sexual, physical, psychological and financial.
Do better dudes.

My phone broke, I replaced it overseas.
But it’s a Japanese version of the phone i usually purchase here. You cannot turn the camera sound off (unlike the one sold in Australia).
Why? Because ‘upskirting’ is such a problem that function is not available - so predators get caught.
