Thankful for a new day and more time to enjoy with our loved ones. Remember, life is short — let’s do good things and be kind to each other.

Couldn't be more thankful. Happy Thanksgiving, and God bless our commonwealth and country.

Investing in America creates good jobs, strong communities and a bright future. I'm thankful for companies like GE Appliances making that a priority.

No President in our history has withheld SNAP benefits during a federal shutdown until now. People going hungry in this instance is a choice President Trump has made.

And let me be very clear: It's the wrong choice.

Leaders should always keep their promises to the American people.
The President hasn't.

We're already seeing the impact of Trump's tariffs and the "big, ugly bill" in Kentucky. From a birthing center not opening to a company laying off hundreds of workers, the pain is real and Kentuckians deserve better.

When your teenager wants to hang with you, always say yes. It goes by too fast!

Science should be based in science – not politics. Anything else is dangerous. Folks, please talk to your doctor. Trust the experts and do what's right for you and your family.

The needs of our people should always come first.

American families shouldn't have to choose between groceries, medication or rent, but rising costs and cuts to essential programs are forcing them into survival mode. Our government should be helping families, not making it harder to get by.

If we can take the politics out of the core concerns of Americans, think about how much we could accomplish. Safe roads, good schools, quality health care and good-paying jobs aren't political – these are the things our people want and deserve.

I've talked to far too many Eastern Kentucky families who lost their homes multiple times due to multiple floods. These Kentuckians deserve to feel safe in a forever home, and that's why we're rethinking how we build back from disasters. 1/2

Americans are tired of the chaos, incompetence and cruelty we've seen over the past few months. The job of leaders is to show up, put politics aside and get good things done for the people. That's what American families want and deserve.

The 'big, ugly bill' is going to hit rural America and every community across the United States. With hospitals closing, people being fired and higher costs for health care, we'll see fewer people going to local restaurants, shopping at businesses and more.
July 18, 2025 at 2:59 PM
We've got to put the American people first by focusing on good jobs, public safety, health care and education. These are the things that let folks care for their families.

That's where my focus is every day.

Happy birthday to the most amazing partner, who makes every day brighter for me and everyone around her. Britainy, I love you, and I'm thankful for the energy, life and light you bring to us all.

Thankful for another beautiful day. Let’s make it a good one, Kentucky.

Health care is a basic human right, yet U.S. Senators voted yesterday to throw 200,000 Kentuckians off their health care and millions more across this country. Now, the lives of these people – our fellow Americans – are at risk. The job of a leader is to represent your people, not harm them.
July 2, 2025 at 4:05 PM
80% of the things American families care about — a good job, health care, safe roads, good schools — aren’t partisan. We need bipartisanship, but we also need leaders to put politics aside for the things everyone agrees on.

If we focus on what matters, we can help our people live better lives.

The "big, ugly bill" will add trillions of dollars to our national debt, fire health-care workers, throw people off their health insurance, close rural hospitals and cause more people to go hungry.

There's nothing beautiful about a bill that will cost Americans their jobs, savings and health.
