I love this spread from History for Beginners. (Available now! A must read for all truth-seekers!) Meaning, message and form marry pleasingly. Like all good ideas, the design came to me, fully-formed, while in the shower.

My new book HISTORY FOR BEGINNERS is now available in all bookshops! I'm really proud of it because it's trying to do something different: to show how history is made and why it is a story. It's also an incredibly beautiful book. Paul Boston, the illustrator did a fantastic job.

Day 5: SAP: (aka sticky, hotjam, the old murder-juice) a dangerous substance commonly found in upper reaches of Tor where veins of the Great Tree are less encrusted by countless millennia's crufty accumulation of tortured brick and stone. Some fools will smoke it. Powerfully addictive mutagen.
