I was very touched to be asked to design a cover for MOUNTAINS ON FIRE by Aram Yardumian. Published by El Martillo Press, the book is something I highly recommend. Beautiful writing. Relevant as it ever was. Support this book by reading. It is worth it. www.elmartillopress.com/product-page...

There is no exaggeration when I say that this is one of the best memoirs I have ever read. Be careful if you have trouble reading about abuse, or hating your body, or starving your body, or hating yourself. There's potential for healing in this book, but it's by way of fire and it will burn you.

It’s very strange. I just started reading it. I had never heard of Assata Shakur. I wanted to learn about her. Today I open the internet to find that she passed away the same day I cracked this book’s spine. A terrible coincidence. Look forward to understanding who she was and her work.
