All comics, all the time, most of the time
Any random Jaime Hernandez page is a masterclass in composition and comics storytelling. I don't know that he's ever drawn a just-okay panel, ever.

Busy weekend coming up at Fan Expo SF! I'll be there Friday and Saturday with new books, moderating panels, and doing portfolio reviews with the The National Cartoonists Society and the Cartoon Art Museum! See you soon!

Got my @iscacaricatures.bsky.social official t-shirt when I arrived at the conference today and...I think I'm on it? Pretty cool way to start the day.

Posted by veteran Larry Hama today. A pause for reflection about the real meaning of the holiday. Made a huge impact on me as a kid, and still does today.

They shut down Twitter after this. It peaked right here.

I know the Cavs will let up a little bit and the game will get closer by the end of the quarter, but I'm so glad DG's back on the court. Go Cavs!

This year's spinner rack and jack o'lantern. Gave away hundreds of comic books and a bunch of paperbacks, lots of candy. Would have had two pumpkins out on the porch but aggressive squirrels devoured our first one. Happy Halloween!

Last night I saw an elephant Trick or Treating in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know.

Not me in the photos, but these are two of the earliest Halloween costumes I remember wearing, along with Charlie Brown, maybe Batman. The smell of plastic, loud plastic rusting with every step, lack of peripheral vision until the rubber band on your mask snapped five minutes in...good times.

Second-to-last page, but I made it into the Essential Peanuts 75th anniversary book! Time to crash some book signings!

Made a wish at the start of the season that we'd be better than the Ravens someday, and here we are.

Drew Struzan, who illustrated many of my favorite movie posters--many of our childhoods!--passed away after his long battle with Alzheimer's. Deepest condolences to his wife, his friends and his family.

Whenever I watch The Godfather movies (which is often), I'm always struck by how much Kay and Michael look like my earliest memories of my parents.

Rest in Peace, Diane Keaton.

Not saying the entire Cleveland Browns front office needs to be launched into the sun, but I'm not not saying that, either.

Watching the Blue Jays annihilate the Yankees two games in a row is taking the sting out of the Guardians' early exit.

Not sure if this got a theatrical release beyond the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, but it's on HBO Max right now and it's incredible. Pulp Fiction by way of 1987 Oakland.

Had a great time at the @schulzmuseum.bsky.social today talking about my new Snoopy book. Signed copies for two hours afterward, until the bookstore sold out--then I drew sketches and signed posters for another hour. Good Grief!
