I actually met a man who was pressed into the German army aged 14 in April 1945, who told me that half of his classmates were killed when they were meant to stop the American advance in Thuringia (more or less what film depicts). So "Die Brücke" probably quite close to the "reality" of war.

You could ask the students whether they can spot the fake... critical thinking skills etc....

The list of terrible game movies is long, though... Lara Croft, Assassin's Creed, the dreadful Super Mario one with Bob Hoskins...

Only briefly played it on a Gameboy when my cousin stayed for the summer vacation. Never got properly into it. But game films are usually cringe, see the Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat movies.

What platform did you play it on? Gameboy or NES?
