the Steam Machine is more powerful than the PC I use for work and it will likely be supa cheapo on release. This is also quite frankly the only gaming console I'd buy in the current market state. Damn you Gabe, I'm probably gonna own all your hardware (minus the glasses thing).

completed Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers, it only took 60 hours. Every evening, after kids were fed and no family need required my presence 🙃

I used a fun mix of resins, 1 part water washable + 1 part flexible resin. The thing is quite sturdy, similar to plastic toys. And surprisingly, I was still able to wash the final print in plain water.

as for the tiny thinkpad x230, a 60 bucks find on the internet. I thought it was messed up, turns out it had a giant nasty cover sticker covering the whole case. The thing is basically pristine 🤓

In Japan they make toys like that in soft vinyl since the 1950s, they are called #sofubi. I'm no japanese craft master, so off to the 3d printer it goes.

At this point I don't think I can go back to traditional sculpting. I wanted to use Nomad Sculpt for this, but I'm not good enough of an artist. I just wanna jump in and see where it goes, I don't think anything comes close to SDF for doing that : )
