It’s out! I’m so thrilled to have worked on the narrative and can’t wait to see what folks think!

(The opening of this fantastic trailer is how it’s going to look when I play. lol.)

The one thing I wish Outer Worlds (both games) had was the ability to swap companions on the fly, Like, being able to tell on of them, “Hey, head back to the ship, and send so-and-so out here.”

On a whim I watched the Outer Worlds episode of Secret Level on Amazon a couple of days ago — and it rocked my world to find Amos on Auntie Cleo’s ship in the game. I love him.

Cool.

Also, I like the way the costumes and style feel vaguely '80s..., like it distinctively feels like a different time period from Katniss' games.

I have a couch!

(I need a rug to anchor it all together, but that can come later, because…)

I’m very excited for my first couch! It actually feels like a living room now.

I keep taking screenshots in The Outer Worlds 2, because the skies are just so pretty.

My sister bought me a goth bouquet of flowers as a house warming gift and I adore them.

I spent most of yesterday playing The Outer Worlds 2. Something like 8-9 hours with a break in the middle. I don't remember the last time I did that.

Which to say, I'm having a blast.

I have been adulting so hard today, I bought a couch, a vacuum, a toaster, and a rice cooker. I’ve earned my gaming time this evening.

Hey so, today is my last day at Crystal Dynamics apparently. I joined the company in 2018 to work on Marvel's Avengers and it's been the longest (and best) job I've ever had. It now means I'm looking for work, so if you know of any senior writer/narrative designer positions please send them my way.

I love yellow dragon fruit, but don’t buy it often because it’s so expensive. A nice treat on this stormy day.

I love waking up to stormy days. This morning, I stood with my front door open while I made my coffee and just listened to the rush of the wind in the trees and the patter of the rain.
