Meh, I block people on Discover just for having (imo) bad opinions. Figure anything they post prolly gonna make me angry one day coz they have bad opinions. Keeps me sane. I can't imagine they care.

Founders posting on LinkedIn are all just posers*. Every single one of them. DO NOT INVEST!!

Serious founders have too much work to post self-aggrandizing bullshit on LI. And don't give a shit what anyone else does or thinks.

* Autocorrect suggested 'losers' for 'posers'. Not sure it was wrong.
Founders on LinkedIn still seem to be struggling with the difference between telling people about their humble beginnings and admitting to straight up committing fraud.

Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.

This applies to friends and family members. Try telling someone you love that they're speeding, sometime.
This is imho a key American social defect. Drivers just cannot take being told or implied that they did something wrong, even when they very clearly, objectively, did. I have no idea how to fix that but it’s something. It’s also the root of a lot of road rage.
Drivers get unbelievably defensive when you point out unsafe driving. The mental gymnastics are something else.

Longmont’s first e-sports tournament didn’t come from a company. It came from librarian Donald Prellwitz, who saw kids shut out of competitive gaming and built a bracket anyone could join. Now any kid can play, and even compete.

I don't think any country without compulsory voting is truly a democracy, at least by a first principle definition. It is a partial democracy at best.

Government is not elected by all the people, but only those with the privilege to vote.

Which is more of a plutocracy, or at first, an oligarchy.
Do you think every person of voting age should be required to vote by law?

I truly believe the majority of human beings want a better world and aren’t voting for it

Here in Australia we have compulsive voting in all elections. People are held responsible if they do not vote. Just a fine if no valid reason. Personal and mail and absentee ballots are available for all. No reason not to vote.

If I had the time and ability, I would have stopped right in front of them in the bike lane, called the police, and waited right there until they came.
OK then, but I'd still rather a 🚂 than a 🚘 in the bike lane #BikeHFX

I'm raging with the heat of a white hot sun at this.

A murderer drunk & high on coke who killed a kid, a national champion Olympic cyclist, who has shown no remorse, may be free after 6 months, only ⅛ of a sentence already too short due to incompetent cops.

Last VP elected president straight after serving was George HW Bush 35+ yrs ago.

Before him, Nixon, 50+ yrs ago.

In ~200 years that's it. Two.

Bush was canned after a single disastrous term in a huge loss.

Nixon resigned in disgrace to avoid impeachment & prison.

I love this for JD Bowman!!
