He’s annoying but his haters are so much worse it’s increased my respect for him

Having accommodations genuinely just increases your chance fee of success even if you don’t have any specific problem. College is expansive and people want to get their moneys worth, why wouldn’t they fill out some paperwork to increase their chances of getting good grades?

In the past I was always skeptical of this kind of argument. Socrates famously said the same thing about writing, that people were getting dumb because they couldn’t memorize the entire Iliad anymore.

But somehow this feels different than a book, or a calculator, or a computer.
