Also, a minute before his response to Bannon about Barr, he links a Miami Herald op-ed by David Oscar Markus (of Ghislaine Maxwell's sweetheart interview fame) defending Acosta's handling of the sweetheart plea.

Has anyone at @oversightdemocrats.house.gov spoken to how this production intersects w/the FBI case file? It's unclear to me whether this is the entirety of records from his various accounts, whether any subset was subpoenaed, etc. Don't think it's ever been firmly established Donald hired Epstein.

It's odd given the article Bannon forwards to him makes no mention of Barr, but Epstein's identifying the former AG as CIA (a part of his bio that consistently gets underglossed, given the pre-Church nature of it) is especially noteworthy for his own undefined intelligence world connections.
Until we get a straight answer from Acosta (who notably misremembered multiple times in his recent @oversightdemocrats.house.gov testimony) or someone else involved, this question remains critical.

These aren't actually the tame ones, it's the full Epstein estate production, dumped all at once after the committee Dems showed themselves willing to specifically curate their own releases. DOJ still has the far more damning collection.

For lack of having done that?

Yeah, there's just no way that Jeffrey Epstein was surviving all the way to trial in a BOP facility controlled by Donald Trump and William Barr.

Jeffrey Epstein has met MBS, Putin, etc. Who's the WORST person he's ever met?

Meanwhile, here's Sloppy Steve texting with Epstein:

Not just more appropriate digs, but a facility that satisfies BOP protocols to house such an offender. In addition to whatever alterations they'd have had to've made to her file to transfer her to Bryan, it's unclear how her presence might affect things like zoning, insurance, contracting, etc.
BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE: Senator Whitehouse asked the BOP for Ghislaine Maxwells sex offender waiver, custody level, transfer code, and security point score. I have them. She's also been granted the ability to leave the facility for work assignments. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/exclusive-...
EXCLUSIVE: I Have Ghislaine Maxwell's Security Score, Custody Level, Transfer Code, and Sex Offender Waiver
I have reviewed an electronic file that includes some of the information Senator Whitehouse is demanding from the Bureau of Prisons.

That was Stacey Williams, who also claimed Trump groped/assaulted her in Epstein's presence.
Solid on the whole, but between the 2016 Jane Doe suit and Stacey Williams' allegations, "He has also not been accused of any wrongdoing linked to Epstein[,]" seems demonstrably non-factual.

So we might yet get his, "glaucomally incapable of seeing evil," defense!?
SCOOP: Alexander Smirnov, the FBI informant convicted of lying about a fake bribery scheme involving the Bidens has been quietly released from prison just months into a six-year sentence—raising concern he could be pardoned by Trump any moment.
