All of these new rulings don’t just affect today, they rewrite precedent. Trump still has three years left, and whatever expanded powers the Court hands him now will automatically pass to the next president as well.

It gets worse. Trump also says straight out that an invasion of Venezuela "on land" is coming and says he'd expand all this to Mexico and Colombia. Incredibly, no one even bothers pointing out anymore that he is claiming authority to do all of this without Congress:

Today I admit that I effed up…again. Same way I effed up in my first term, by the way. Because I never learn. And I suspect that MAGA never learns, either. I’m going to take some money from the bucket of money I’m supposed to give back, because it was illegal to start with.
