100% correct.
A prime example of how the far right can never be appeased. Give them whatever they demand and they’ll bank it, then use it as a new base camp to strike out for more and worse.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

Never forget how incompetent these bastards were.
The “toxic and chaotic culture” inside Boris Johnson’s Downing St was behind the UK’s “too little, too late” response to Covid-19, with Johnson singled out for particular blame. Inquiry chair Baroness Hallett said poor decisions by him, his ministers and officials cost tens of thousands of lives.

You can't defeat racists and bigots like Farage and his followers by pandering to them - it just encourages them to demand more. They'll find ever more scapegoats and demand harsher treatment. They need to be resisted and exposed at every turn, and the sooner Labour learns this the better.

Exactly. They worry too much about criticism, so instead of being bold and forward-looking they're always on the back foot. To quote the final line in a Guardian analysis by @jessicaelgot.bsky.social today: 'As one Labour MP said: “They could try not being paranoid and just try being better.”'
Evidently there is a splinter cell in Downing St that's determined for this Labour Govt to spend its entire time in office punching itself repeatedly in the face.

These people learned nothing from the shambolic Tory regimes of the last 9 years.

STFU & run the country.
