We've all been there.

You can never be too rich or too thin, you can never delve too greedily or too deep.

I did wonder.

Well, Legbiter was the name of a real sword (belonging to King Magnus Barefoot, so there's a theme here).

(Also I know tod is German for death, but the name Todbringer entirely fails to be menacing for me, because it just makes me think of Todhunter, and Robert Bathurst is not scary.)

An independent taskforce *just* did a huge review of ADHD in England, and the conclusion was that it's "under-recognised, under-diagnosed and under-treated."

Repeatedly, charities have chosen to cooperate with the ongoing exclusion of trans people from public life rather than take a serious risk to defend us. They will survive this shit. We fucking won't. Girl guiding or the People's History Museum or whatever get to do on. We die alone.

detail than they could make work and ending up with inconsistent proportions on the same model, but a lot of it was just that drive to make everything look like a box.

Worst of all is the Phantom Titan redesign. Infohazardous abomination, look not upon it lest it cost you your mind...

Oh yes, with limited exceptions (the Eldar vehicles, basically), that whole Epic 40k-era range of sculpts is just baaaad.

I think partly it's that rather than just making things that looked good at that scale, they were trying to compress 28mm models, which now actually existed, cramming in more...

Though to be honest all the 1st-early 2nd edition Titan/Gargant designs are extremely cool, they had zero misses before the mid-90s.

To me there's an air of irrational archaism about the design that makes it feel more quintessentially 40k than the Warlord, which is more straight sci-fi, apart from the heads. I think what it comes down to is the way the narrow parts of the limbs evoke the shape of bones.
