Week on week results from sentinel labs enumerating the number of tests and test positivity for COVID (table 2 on top) and other respiratory viruses (table 3 bottom) for the four weeks to 23 November 2025

A small rise for COVID and a larger rise in test positivity for influenza

The tests and test positivity for influenza (middle graph) are both rising

Influenza notifications are the middle graph with type A in dark blue and type B in light blue

Influenza A remains persistent and rising which is particularly noticeable in contrast to 2024 where notifications dropped right down at this time of year
