An amazing MN Librarian assembled us a reading list to add to the website so people can do more than donate, they can learn to organize in their communities.

While independent bookstores are giving out free whistles, hosting protest sign making events, and donating proceeds to mutual aid, Amazon is *checks notes* providing technology that assists ICE in their terrorizing of communities.

Independent bookstores deserve your support. Amazon does not.

Your local alt weeklies have great info for you!
It used to be that going to free websites was throttling paid newspaper subscriptions but we are so far past that and now people just watch Tik-Toks and the Chinese government (?) keeps the money. So please patronize publishers on open platforms outside of social media please.

I have a new book coming in July!

In The Best Advice, a contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, Rosalind is an advice columnist who is far more comfortable fixing other people’s problems than dealing with her own.

It releases in July and preorders are open now.

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes.

You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment.

My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM.

We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building.

Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

Simple advice for cis people this week re: supporting the trans people in your life.

Asking how they’re doing & listening with attention & compassion to the answer: yes.

Telling them how scared & upset you are about [insert transphobic propaganda]: no.

This has been simple advice for cis people.

Goodnight, friends.

"Don’t get me wrong, I do

when it flickers, when it folds up so perfectly
you can keep it until it’s needed, until you can
love it again"
