While we are horrified by the news out of Minneapolis and the Portlands, this is even more dangerous. It's just not as loud. We need to make noise.

Today is not going to be an easy day, because, yeah, things are 100% worse than a year ago, but, that doesn’t mean we stop fighting or that it’s too late to make things better, to create the country and world we want to live in. We still have the power, and, this year has shown that in spades.

Hey Influencers, explain tax brackets, 'coz I think when we hear "tax the uber-rich," the average person does not understand what portion of a billionaire's wealth would actually be taxed, nor how FAR that is from the lower 90% of us. We think it means our taxes will go up. It does not.

It’s not fair.

If you don't like being harangued by hyperventilating talking heads, take a moment here to risk being bored by Chris Murphy. But seriously, he is calm and rational and absolutely devastating as he lays out the path we are on. Resist.
We aren't on the verge of an authoritarian takeover. We are in the middle of it.
But I worry people don't see the whole scheme. They just pay attention to each new daily outrage. So I went to the Senate floor to explain Trump's plan.

My life is better because of the people* in it. (*trans, gay, Black, immigrant, tattooed, weird accents, neuro-spicy, etc. etc.) I wish the gov't would quit coming after the best parts of my life.
