Johannes: Would rather not wear a suit jacket, thank you very much — feels awkward in one, like he's compensating for something. Just the waistcoat is best, maybe a jabot for neckwear. Mandarin collars to give his neck some breathing room, also sets him apart from the other men in a room.

Florian: I mostly base his fashion on Brisseau's suits here (Noce Blanche, 1989). There's authority, yeah, but the softer contours of the fabric and lapels add sensitivity. Ultimately evokes a man of learning.
