The Liberty Ship (given it's unfortunately history of, oh, breaking in two).
From Wikipedia: The SS Schenectady split apart by brittle fracture while in harbor, 1943. It was a 152-meter-long T2 tanker. This dry recitation of facts belies the photo itself of a large ship broken in two, a crack visible aft of the bridge, and the middle of the ship rising from the sea whilst the bow and stern take a dip.
