It'll be interesting to see if the skyrocketing RAM prices will push developers to more efficient use of it, like when the PS3/360 generation dragged on and devs had to optimize to push the hardware

I've always heard that Linux versions are too much expense for developers to commit to, and yet I see tons of indie games manage to offer Windows, Mac and Linux versions despite having significantly less budget?
