NW: The Talk of the Town (1942). I’ve quickly fallen in love w/ Jean Arthur’s comedic talent thanks to TCM’s Star of the Month. Modern reflection: Taking dictation is such a weird thing to me outside a courtroom. Men could be busy professionals but couldn’t be arsed to write/type! 🤦🏼♀️

🧵 Sending out gratitude to all first responders today! Last night, we got stuck in a ~40 min delay on WB 118 to Simi Valley. I can't find any news stories on it, tho from what I saw on the CHP site while stuck, it sounds like an initial two-car collision that came to involve a few more cars.

I love @ridwell.bsky.social!!! It's such a tangible way to redirect items away from landfills and into reuse, recycling, or upcycling. If they don't serve your area with their pickup service, you can use their mail-in service instead.

Italian holiday deliciousness. Second serving, so the plate’s already messy 😅 My husband’s specialty dish: bracciole. It’s super thin steak with Italian seasoning & Parmesan cheese, then rolled up, seared, & cooked all day in tomato sauce.

Thanks Republicans (and any mod Dems who let the Reps run roughshod over us). Same exact plan, 2 adults, $500 more per month. Such a great Christmas gift 🤬 This isn’t going to ruin us, but it will do just that to so many families. All that death & untreated illness is on Republican hands. #ACA
