Not a reminder since this is probably the first time you're hearing this but Gëŕrek, the language, was created by T́aigëŕ so that we could talk to each other and organise and coordinate without our abusers knowing what we were saying. That is why most Gëŕ still call it a "war language" (vuŕrek).

Gëŕrek is a living language, it was only partially constructed, it evolves through natural means, attempts to control its evolution were made, unsuccessful and unpopular, just like our people, let it free to be whatever it makes itself into.

We have our own nonhuman history in our system. And very arduous is an understatement, so we come from a place a bit different from outer world therian and otherkin history, think about it as history from another country, but I am happy to commune with outer world nonhumans.

My favourite fearure of #Gëŕrek right now is the word pravda, which means an attempt was made. We never gramaticalised this word, except we have, it exists as a true verb "prev" but we still use the invariable form "pravda" anyway, straight from Norwegian "prøvde"
