RIP my Clyp account. In the span of 2018 to 2020, I made and uploaded so much amateur music there, with fun descriptions for all my tracks.
At the end of 2020, Clyp stopped accepting new uploads unless you paid a subscription fee. That actually ended my music career. Now they're deleting my stuff.

I bought Septimo Sentido by Seph on white vinyl, and it just arrived! First vinyl purchase for over a year; it's really cool to get some physical merch from Seph since discovering him a few years ago and not even knowing if he was still actively making music.

Every day, we stay further from God's Light.
Actually, this language (Sidef, which compiles to Perl, of all things) fascinates me, and I'm going to play with it.

My love for learning as much as possible about every programming language has gotten me this far: I reached 100% completion of Exercism's 48 in 24 challenge. (Solved one problem in 3 specific languages every week, all year.)
Now let's see how well Bluesky can render this abnormally tall screenshot.

And don't get me started on how you're not allowed to commit your puzzle inputs to your repos when sharing your code. I obey this rule, but it doesn't make sense. By the time someone gathers everyone's inputs, the leaderboards will be full and the challenge over. Why the strict copyright policy?

You're not allowed to swear whatsoever. Oh, except the rule that enforces no swearing contains a swear word itself (d*ck) which is worse than many of the words they're censoring.
As someone who doesn't swear, removing comments containing even mild swearing on a forum for adults is nonsense.

The fact that there is an unresolved issue where cheaters are stealing spots on the global leaderboard every day is not allowed to be discussed. This is enforced by yelling at people in all caps.

How many subreddits require you to add a specific flair to your posts, then are sure to scold you if you use the wrong one?

You're not allowed to share solutions directly in comments unless they're 5 lines of code or shorter. That's nothing. Comments are collapsible on Reddit; their length should be of no concern to you. The snarky attitude makes it worse.

The Advent of Code subreddit (r/adventofcode) is overmoderated and completely micromanaged. The moderator named daggerdragon is unbearable; looking at their comment history just feels like doomscrolling.
I have no context, but what is this? You can't reply to someone's solution with a question?
