I always tell my friends it’s good to introduce family to phones, my grandma has had every smart phone for a good 10 years and it helps her keep in touch with family and playing all her little games.

I think it would help society as a whole if education about dementia and how to work with those that suffer from it was more prevalent.
I feel like people want to pretend it doesnt exist, and when the time comes they have no tools to deal with it.

Our family’s way of thinking is she took care of us so we take care of her.

Our family’s way of thinking is she took care of us so we take care of her.
I do understand sometimes that extra care may have to be done but at the same time I’m lucky enough that my family are full of people who work in healthcare, the plan for my grandma (she’s 86 but she’s in good health and is an avid Instagram user) is for my aunt to take care of her.
