So far, my favorite approach to #portraiture is to imagine a face, use a reference pic for lighting cues, and more or less sculpt that face using layers of #paint. I'm still struggling w/ proportions, and I find line work less forgiving. Also, shading is my favorite. #ArtSky #ArtPractice

Just made a batch of glass-printed grounds using #acrylicink, acrylic #paint and some warm-toned pastel paper that I don't super love for pastels. And wow, did I make a mess!

This is your gentle reminder that masking up when you're sick is one way to help our communities. Lots of ppl can't afford to miss work, (even if they or their kiddos are sick). Co-pays, meds, transportation to/from appts & pharmacies adds up quickly. Masking when you're sick can help so many ppl.

Pants are dumb. It's basically impossible for pants to fit me comfortably. I need, like, a sensory-friendly kilt that'll fit a 26" waist and 33" hips. It needs a million pockets, including one that'll fit a phone. Does this exist? Does it come in rainbow dinosaur patterns? #AuDHD #sensoryfriendly

This little weirdo looks super festive. Part Mari Lwyd, part random forest spirit, they just really want to wish you a very LET ME IN. This type of creature, all skeletal and antlery, is one of my favorite things to doodle. (Um, I'm also a weirdo. But in a fun way, not a creepy way.)

#ArtExperiment I love making colorful grounds with #acrylicink then adding linework. Instead of freehanding with gel pen or acrylic marker, I used #screenprinting ink and some of my hand-carved #stamps.
