It was an impossible hand but I think he’s still paid it poorly. Well thought of abroad and significant things achieved quietly domestically,however .. some strategic errors have destroyed his standing in and out of the party. He can’t lead the way back to EU with his historically low ratings

And an environment where cobbling together a vote of around 29% may mean an opportunity of continuing in govt albeit in coalition with the Lib Dem’s who would anyway demand CU and SM as cost of cooperation.

His Trumpian reaction (double down accuse the BBC of double standards) isn't helping him. However I fear it won't affect his electoral prospects much - people are so disaffected they will still vote for him. Many will remain unaware.

I'm almost exactly Farage's age and I went to a public school at the same time. I can't remember anyone behaving remotely like this. This was extreme behaviour even for that place and time. It should finish him. I hope it does.
