The alt account of @jjoycelynch.bsky.social, where I keep an eye on "Alt" US Govt. accounts, and one account in particular.

Yes lol, it's one of their favorite things. They were big on the whole "TACO" thing (Trump Always Chickens Out) for a while, too.

I'll have more to say about @adenng.com's new video in a bit, but I just cringed so hard I got a nosebleed and needed a minute to recover

I am, let's say, skeptical that AltNPS has "tracked bot groups" in any meaningful way, and they probably got the info in this September thread from somewhere else.

But even then, they never talked about where spam/bot accounts are based. That was never part of their story.
November 24, 2025 at 4:33 PM
AltNPS HASN'T been saying this "for months." I don't think they've ever made this claim at all?

They've posted about bots and supposedly how to spot them, but as far as I can tell, they've never mentioned the idea of MAGA accounts being foreign-based until this news broke widely this week.

It sucks even more to see Andrew get replies angry at him for simply requesting to be credited. He even went out of his way to be nice to AltNPS! But we've seen this before: any bad action by AltNPS can be discarded, because it's "for the resistance," or "not the right moment for criticism."

Shoutout to @readman.bsky.social for tagging me here. It sucks to see AltNPS steal a photo from independent journalists, but it's what they do.

When they say "excited to see everyone there," they're setting themselves up to imply that they took pics like this themselves.

When I lived in Minneapolis in 2020, @guru-merc.bsky.social was an incredible source of on-the-ground reporting in the wake of George Floyd's murder. I really respect the guy, and it's a shame to see him get ripped off so blatantly by AltNPS.
November 23, 2025 at 6:15 PM
More evidence of a trend: AltNPS never, ever posts about merch here on Bluesky, but it's all over their Facebook page.
November 22, 2025 at 3:03 AM
Another FB-only post from AltNPS. They could genuinely have just forgotten to crosspost it, but it could be a conscious decision.

With this, it might have been easier to justify their claim of "thousands" of comments on Facebook, where they legitimately do get thousands of replies, than on here.
November 21, 2025 at 10:26 PM
In the last three weeks, AltNPS has posted 163 times (not counting replies). A quick snapshot of what they've been posting about:

Epstein: 15

Environment in general: 4

The national parks specifically: 2

AltNPS could be closely monitoring the CDC website and poring over it for changes (unlikely), and could actively follow Trump on Truth Social (I hope not, for their sake).

But these were both front-page stories in the NYT this afternoon, and that seems like where AltNPS probably saw them.

I'm rereading @rothschildmd.bsky.social's "The Storm Is Upon Us," and one quote stood out to me. Rothschild describes the period when Q jumped from the fringe to the mainstream:

"Q began to take on the persona less of a military intelligence insider and more of a GOP cheerleader."

"Repeated" is the word I'd use, yes.

ORANGES ROLLING INTO TRAFFIC
November 17, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Once the raid starts in their story, AltNPS wastes no time making it as cartoonish as possible. Grocery bags splitting apart! Oranges rolling into traffic!!!

They're describing an assault on Charlotte residents by federal agents like it's a slo-mo shot from an 80's action movie.
November 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM
AltNPS describes Charlotte, NC the way any normal human being would, as "defined by banking towers." Their tone here is almost infantilizing, where the people of Charlotte are just simple small-town folk (in a city of 900,000). As though football, BBQ and quaint farmer's markets are all they know.
November 17, 2025 at 1:25 PM
Because sure, you definitely "wrote" this, and didn't just get ChatGPT or Gemini to squeeze it out for you.

Honestly, I'd be happier if they just said they used AI here. It would somehow be less embarrassing than saying you wrote whatever this is.
November 17, 2025 at 1:22 PM
On the advice of some smart folks on here, I did take a break from AltNPS-posting yesterday, and it felt great.

But AltNPS never takes breaks. And yesterday, they decided to really lean into their new habit of cranking out exploitative, overwrought ICE raid slop.
November 17, 2025 at 1:19 PM
For example, AltNPS hasn't posted a "code number" since July, and I'd be very surprised if they ever did again. It seems like that bit has run its course, along with their claims of being in contact with "unnamed officials."
November 15, 2025 at 6:44 PM
With some exceptions, AltNPS seems to be jettisoning the "numbers station" faux-spy image that spurred their explosive popularity over the last year.

They're increasingly relying on low-effort Blue Wave Engagement Slop, which to be fair, is much easier than making "code numbers" seem believable.

I'm so tired
November 15, 2025 at 3:38 AM
For Christ's sake, Zoe Tillman is here on Bluesky and posted essentially THIS SAME THREAD hours before AltNPS did.

The Alt National Park Service could have just retweeted a journalist, but instead, they rewrote her work and left out her name.
November 15, 2025 at 2:40 AM
But this is the part that pisses me off: "And almost no one is talking about it."

AltNPS is trying to imply that while ALMOST no one is talking about this, THEY are.

But someone IS talking about it. Her name is Zoe Tillman. She's a senior reporter at Bloomberg.
November 15, 2025 at 2:36 AM
Every section of AltNPS's thread seems to be drawn from Tillman's article, often in the same order. The phrasing is different, but the order of ideas is the same.

If not plagiarism, it's at the very least lazy, and baffling; why not just link to Bloomberg? It would have been easier!
