At tonight’s vigil for Florida State, the administration is taking the opportunity to make sure the students know the support & resources available. But the biggest need met here is for community. Bringing people together helps remind them that they’re not alone. #FSUStrong

My wife is a Yooper so I love Big Mac, but I prefer the Portage Lake Lift Bridge in Houghton (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portage...). My personal favorite may be very disappointing to others - most see just the 2nd pic below. But it’s home, so driving over it at night looks like the 3rd to me.

Looks like TCAC, Occupy FL, Food not Bombs Tallahassee and others have planned one that day in town at 5pm.

For my friends who have left Meta, I wanted to post here also. For now, I’m on an oxygen concentrator while I’m doing any sort of significant exertion. Tests haven’t given any explanations yet, but have ruled some things out. We’re just going to keep digging.

I think I found what my dog was telling me was under the house when she was sniffing at the vents. @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social any idea what it was. Really pointy nose so I was thinking possum.

Just came out from under my house. My AC has sucked & my utility bill has been insane this summer. I found tons of small holes in the ductwork — some larger than my vents. Landlord has called for repair but I covered most with the cling wrap from our last move. Maybe now the house will cool more. 🤞🏻
