In an attempt to warn ICE officers that children were nearby, a U.S. citizen was shot. ICE agents hide behind masks, swearing they’re under threat + their lives are at risk. It's a lie that fuels violence w 0 accountability. It’s *our* lives at risk, not ICE agents’.
ICE Agents Shoot U.S. Citizen in Los Angeles Area
In Southern California, advocates are raising more alarm over ICE’s use of force in immigration raids, after agents shot a 25-year-old U.S. citizen in the Los Angeles area as he attempted to warn the federal officers that children would soon gather at a school bus stop where the officers had just pulled over a vehicle. Lawyers for Carlos Jimenez said he was shot while trying to leave the scene and reversed his car in panic. A bullet remains lodged in the back of his right shoulder. Jimenez was then arrested, accused of assaulting an officer, which his lawyers deny. He was released from jail on bond last week as he faces federal charges. The shooting came about a week after ICE agents shot a Mexican immigrant they were attempting to arrest during a botched operation in L.A. late last month.

ICE continues to terrorize schools, homes + now hospitals–waving guns in staff’s faces, even to shackling patients, Gov. Newsom has signed SB 81 to prevent ICE from entering medical facilities w/out proper docs. But let's face it, ICE is lawless.
Immigration agents are raiding California hospitals and clinics. Can a new state law prevent that?
Legal experts say the new California law can’t fully protect immigrant patients because federal authorities are allowed in public places, such as hospital lobbies and parking lots.

Pregnant women are being horrifically mistreated in ICE custody. This is an outrage, one that unveils the glaring hypocrisy of the “pro-life” party who claim to be for protecting the unborn yet are fine w endangering the lives of immigrant mothers + their babies.
Pregnant women describe miscarrying and bleeding out while in ICE custody, advocates say
The ACLU and other groups are pressing for ICE to identify and release all pregnant women in custody and to stop detaining anyone known to be pregnant, postpartum or nursing.

In August, ICE agents in full tactical gear blew the front door off a home in order to violently arrest an expectant mom who was getting back from a medical check-up.

“… an agent turned an outdoor surveillance camera away from what was transpiring—an act she caught on camera and shared w/KTLA.”

The Trump admin’s policies aren’t just destroying the lives of immigrants - they’re devastating the lives of American families too; families like the Blaguis.

ICE stormed an apt complex by helicopter as families slept, zip-tying children + US citizens. Used chemical agents near a public school. Shot a woman they say was trying to run over agents. W/ zero accountability + ruthless tactics, ICE has become a modern-day Gestapo.
Immigration agents become increasingly aggressive in Chicago
Activists, residents and elected leaders say increasingly combative tactics used by federal immigration agents are sparking violence and fueling neighborhood tensions in the nation’s third-largest city.

“I am always nervous.”

ICE has detained multiple U.S. Citizens based on their physical appearance, leaving many traumatized from the horrific treatment. Constitutional rights are eroding right before our eyes, and the presidential administration is not only allowing it but encouraging it.

🚨 Another detention center has opened in California City—illegally, without permits. Inside: no clean water, no medical care. Outside: immigrant families are too afraid to leave their homes. Fear is the point. We refuse to accept it.
